1, Why the APP is connected to the network but the device does not react?
1) Please check if your device goes offline.
2) Make sure the device has power.
3) If you have recently changed your WiFi network’s name or password, you can follow the guideline on the app to add it again.

2, How can I connect the device to Amazon Alexa / Google Assistant?
1) Open the AiDot
2) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
3) Tap “Settings” and then you can find “Alexa & Hey Google”
4) Choose “Amazon Alexa” or “Google Assistant” and follow the instructions.

3, Why I can’t connect the device to Amazon Alexa?
Failing to link skills will prevent Alexa from being able to access any devices linked to AiDot. Please check and link AiDot Alexa skill by Alexa APP or AiDot APP.

4, Why I can’t connect the device to Google Assistant?
Failing to link action will prevent Google Assistant from being able to access any devices linked to AiDot. Please check and link AiDot Google action by Google home APP or AiDot APP.

5, If the name of the device is modified in the app, how do I control the device using Alexa voice?
You need to rediscover devices through Alexa’s voice or the “discover” function of the “Smart Home” session in the Alexa app. Once you have discovered the modified device, you can control it through Alexa voice.

1) Open the AiDot
2) Tap “Scenes >” and go to the More icon on the top right
3) Tap “Add Scene” and follow the instructions

2, How to delete a scene?
1) Open the AiDot
2) Tap “Scenes>” and choose the scene you want to delete
3) Scroll to the bottom and tap “Delete Scene”

3, How to edit a scene?
1) Open the AiDot
2) Tap “Scenes>” and choose the scene you want to edit

4, How to add a room?
1) Open the AiDot
2) Tap the Plus + sign on the top right and go to “Rooms”
3) Name your room and save

5, How to delete a room?
Before you delete the room, please move the device to another room.
1) Open the AiDot
2) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
3) Tap “Rooms”
4) Tap the More icon on the top right and go to “Manage Rooms”
5) Choose the room you want to delete

6, How to add a device?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “Devices” and then tap the More icon on the top right
3) Tap “Add Device”
4) Scan the QR code on the actual bulb or enter the device name to add a device

7, How to delete a device?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “Devices”
3) Tap the More icon on the top right and go to “Manage Devices”
4) Choose the device you want to delete

8, How can I share the control of the device with family members?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “Share” and choose the home you want to share
3) Invite your friend or family by entering their email address, later if your friends don’t have an account, they can create one with that email address
4) After signing in, they can tap the “Home” to shift between the one they created and yours
5) The fastest way to share is to log in with the same account

9, After sharing my device with family members, do I need to re-share it when adding a new device?
As long as you add your family members to the family, you can share all the devices under the family, and the devices added later do not need to be shared separately again.

10, How to set up notifications?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “Settings” and go to “Notifications”
3) You can select the device that you want to be notified

11, How to delete home?
We recommend that you save important data or information before deleting it.
1) Tap on home listing on the home page
2) Tap “Home Management”
3) Tap the home you want to delete
4) You can find “Delete Home” at the bottom

12, How to add home?
1) Tap on home listing on the home page
2) Tap “Home Management”
3) Tap the Plus + sign on the top right to add home
4) You can have a maximum of 5 homes

13, How to add widgets?
1) Pull down screen to active notification center in the homepage of mobile phone and swipe right
2) Swipe to the button and click edit
3) Find the “AiDotz” icon and click “add”
4) Click the top right corner to complete
5) Click the button to activate scenes and control devices

14, Can I use Siri to control smart products?
1) Yes. On the “Add to Siri” page, you can set a custom phrase for Siri to trigger your “Scene”
2) You can enable or disable the Siri shortcuts on the “Scenes>” page. When enabled, you’ll see Siri’s icon
3) Tap “Scenes>” on the home page and click the More icon on the top right
4) Choose “Add to Siri”
5) You can set a shortcut command for the scene

15, How to set up a vacation mode?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “Smart” and you can see “Vacation Mode”

16, How can I know my app version?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “More” and then go to “About”

17, How to update your app?
1) On the home page, tap the Setting icon on the top left
2) Tap “More” and go to “About”
3) You can see your app version here. If the app is not the latest version, you can update it by tapping on the link

18, What will happen if I don’t update the app?
You will still be able to use other devices, but your older app version will no longer be supported and you won’t be able to get the latest firmware or security features for devices.
We recommend that you update the software in time to make better use of the device.

19, Can I change the notification sound?
1) The app does not have a specific notification sound you can change or set. Instead, you can change your default notification sounds in your phone or tablet’s device settings.
2) To change the notification sound, swipe to close the app and go to your device’s Settings app. Then go to Sound & Haptics(iOS) or Sound & notification (Android) to change your sound preferences.

7, Can I change the e-mail address on my account?
The registered account can’t be changed. If you need to change to another email address, you have to register it again. For the old email account that you don’t want to use anymore, you can log into your app and delete it directly.

8, Is there a PC or Browser-based app?
No.

9, Using the same account on multiple devices simultaneously.
If you have created one account, you can use it on the following devices simultaneously.
1) Two phones(iOS+Android / iOS+iOS / Android+Android)
2) One tablet(iOS/Android)

10, Change the language of APP.
